Dreading the heat of a hot stove thanks to the Indian Summer London is currently experiencing, we decided to check out Mildreds, a vegetarian restaurant that offers delicious internationally inspired food that can satisfy anyone, vegetarian and meat-eater alike. With a relaxed atmosphere, friendly staff and quick service as well as reasonable prices (a tenner can get you a main and a drink, or better yet a light meal and dessert) it was most definitely worth the trip to SoHo.Vimbai had: an organic ginger beer and plate of spinach and ricotta ravioli (the best ravioli ever, it was love at first bite)
Bryonie had: a burrito filled with black turtle beans, corn and red pepper topped with tomato lime salsa, guacamole, smoked cheddar and sour cream served with a leaf salad.
And we’re happy to say that we enjoyed our meal, making sure we ate every last bite:
Ps: If you can’t visit Mildreds, you can check out their sister restaurant, Mrs Marengo’s, which offers a tasty breakfast and lunch menu with the option for takeaway.
